The weightlifting glove is the first go to when you want to protect your hands and provide a better grip. There are many different type such as full finger, fingerless, gloves with added wrist support. A lot of it is personal preference. Gloves will protect your hands from developing those rough calluses and can provide some cushion to the hands if you deal with some pain in your hands.

Another benefit from weightlifting gloves are they provide better grip. It can provide better grip when grabbing the bar whether it is pushing or pulling. It will the decrease the possibility of bars or dumbbells from slipping out of your hands. Being able to grip better equals better lifting for better results.

We would recommend a weight lifting glove such as this one. It is breathable, it has palm support and also wrist support.

WRISTWRAPS

Wraps are made to support and stabilize the wrist. It is made of a fabric that wraps around the wrist secured by Velcro.

Benefits of using wraps that it provides stability that helps you be able to push more weight. Because it provides stability, it will prevent pain if you have a weaker wrist or recovering from injuries. It is best used for pushing workouts such as bench presses and shoulder presses. They are very easy to use and it makes a huge difference when used.

We recommend using Harbinger weightlifting wrist wraps. There Harbinger wraps have specialized in gym accessories for more than 30 years making this accessory one of the most reliable wraps on the market. If you would like more choices when in comes to a more customized look and have color choices Fitness First wraps is another great choice.

Lifting Straps

Lifting straps are made of fabric that wraps around the wrist but also wraps around the bar you are lifting, essentially tying your hands to the weight. It improves your gripping ability and allows you to really aim and focus at those target muscles before thinking your grip is going to give out or having grip fatigue. It allows you go longer and stronger.

These are extremely useful for pull works outs such as deadlifts, lat pull downs, rows. It takes a while to correctly use them but once you get it down it is no problem.

We recommend using Harbinger Lifting Straps. Just like for their wraps, their brands accessories are one of the most reliable. These wraps have a padded cushion wrist protection taking pressure of the hand and are heavy duty making it last.
